An advanced and high performance electrode engineered for anion exchange membrane fuel cells. It can also be used for alkaline fuel cells or batteries. This electrode is comprised of a carbon paper substrate (Molded Graphite Laminate without any PTFE treatment) and platinum black electrocatalyst. High platinum loading and engineered electrode layer deliver the desired performance. Use of Fumion dispersion within the electrocatalyst layer greatly improves the hydroxyl ion conductivity for the anode and cathode electrochemical reactions and hence superb reaction kinetics. The first of its kind in the fuel cell and battery industries.

The Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) used is an untreated carbon paper without MPL, which is 280 microns thick. No PTFE treatment on the base fabric makes this substrate ideally suited for applications using liquid reactant transferred anode or cathode that needs the diffusion medium to be wettable.
